Additionally to do
1)
Do not have automated "empty direct contacts" adding to the subscription account.
We will add 10 empty contacts when RV300 or 240 is paid, or when extras are purchased.
2)
When direct contacts is clicked, please change the pop up message to read:
Ten Red Hot Confirmed Ladies Direct Contact Details
"Please see "membership" and the "pay into account" page to activate this section"
3)
In agency control panal "account". Change the multiple from 3 to 1. I think this will work again under the "pay as you go" membership system...
3)
LATER to do list
Adverts for ladies - set up again. (For staff also later, when we get some members).
When a lady adds a photo to our site, it needs to be named with a "key word phrase".
Can we rename files on our site with "key word phrases" without it being confusing for us? Apparently spiders read these files as well...
smpt emailing issue???
full site back up on asa-server as well? Weekly.
gift list photos need improving and re adding to member contol panal etc
more drop down boxes for ladies join eg religion, etc etc to reduce translation needs. smoker section is sometimes not filled in??

Does t and c print correctly?
When a lady sends a photo with her letter, can it be cropped to her "other" photos at the same time? or be sent somewhere so we can crop it when we are ready to add it to her profile?
New Membership Plan:
My first priorities are to make more money from letters; to reduce the amount of membership choices, remain competitive but not the cheapest.
The main membership option will be RV £40 subscription, and the secondary membership offer will be to by pass subscription, with RV £300 (cheque or bank transfer only).
I need to make this clearer on the membership page as you say. £40 should not be too expensive for serious potential clients of the right calibre
especially with the extras they get for membership, such as x replies (added to pay as you go) and free visa advice, plus genuine service.
"RV" is a shortened version of the world "Rendezvous" (meeting or "meeting place" is the similar meaning).
Subscription
Sending unlimited first letters will continue same as now. No more unlimited replies. Subscription is our membership fee.
We may or may not in future include a quantity of replies which are inclusive in the membership fee. We have to encourage men to write letters and a subscription with inclusive replies should help that.
In the beginning I want to give members 20 inclusive replies which I can add to their pay as you go account (manually for now).
Members who are paying subscription or are not very active will could have their pay as you go balance re-set manually to 20
times x (20 x £2.50 equals £50 at the beginning of the month).
However, if a member is very active, and we can see he has added money to his account, he may already have a large balance, so in this case
I would have to actually add £50 on top of his pay as you go balance. So if this can be automated later it would have to calcualate the amount
the man has added extra within that month of his subscription, and add the £50 to that so the pay as you go balance is correct.
So the principle will be if a member adds funds within a month his pay as you go balance will add up commulatively, but if he does not add funds,
his pay as you go balance will be re set to £50 when he pays his subscription. I am sure this sounds complicated (to me mainly) but I
hope you do not think it is complicated. If it is too complicated or a massive job, then I must do this manually untill we see members joining, but the main issue is switching off unlimited replies. The member pays £40 and I manually add £50 (or whatever) to his pay as you go balance,
so that he is charged exactly as for the current pay as you go system for each reply and ongoing letter after his inclusive allowance. It would look good in his account if it showed £50 when he had only paid £40 and he will see how the pay as you go systme works immediately with the current system (pay as you go).
Important reasoning:
It was a big mistake offering unlimited letters. Imagine, myself or a members of staff could be sitting there all day aproving letters
between a man and a woman who are sat at their computers writing letters to each other every ten minutes. We can not do so much potential work for so little.. Alternatively, if we are sitting their all day approving letters between one man and one woman as such,
or for a man with many women, he will soon use up his "inclusive letter replies / ongoing letters (20 for now added as pay as you go)" and our time approving letters will generate more income, especially with the ladies that do their letters themselves.
And for example if I pay staff one dollar for approving a letter, the most they can approve for one member will be 20 letter replies/ongoing letters which is 20 dollars (that is the £50), and then the man would have to add more funds, so with the subscription at £40 I can not lose money. It will appear like a membership fee that has inclusive benefits, but ultimately it will be a stand alone membership subscription, but the members "pay as you go" balance for unlimited letters (sending only) will be activated with the £50 (or any figure that is whatever we choose to represent the number of letters and cost of letters)
Also I believe that initially I will be sat at my computer approving most letters 24/7 or whatever. The control panal will register (the same as it does now) for the
replies only so that will be the pay at the end of the month for that interpreter [instead of 3 dollars it will be 1 dollar]. The interpreters who operate a control panal will be earning money while they are not even at their computer, especially with ladies that are more than happy to log in and reply themselves in english as I will be encouraging all to do. The ladies that write interesting letters will help us because the man will want to reply. I will aprove letters as quickly as possible. Interpreters should only have to tell ladies that they have a letter if the automatic email does not work.
I am not worried about poor translations or bad English. I want ladies to try to write in English if they can, bad English is better than no English, it is all practice. Our charge to the members is basically for checking and approving and chasing the ladies that need to be phoned to tell them they have letters so they can make their replies (in the absense of an automated email or the lady logging in to english-dating.com to check.
We phone them to encourage them to log in and reply and a translator has to decide, is the lady worth the effort if she does not reply quickly. The translator should find ladies who will write (attractive ladies too). It will be totally in the translator/agency interests to find ladies who are the keenest who will write there own letters by logging in because they will make money even when I, at least one employee / me or another will be constantly approving letters, so members quickly use up their inclusive 20, and we start making more money for additional letters, as members start adding more funds.
By Passing the Subscription
Subscription RV£40 will be our recommended choice. RV£300 will be for those who do not want to subscribe, or who do not think they need our tour support. It is great if a man finds a wife in a short time especially if I can get publicity from it, but ultimately, we also want longer term support via subscription (choosey members or members who just like meeting ladies, or like the ideal of the potential of meeting ladies?) and I am working on a 1% additional tour discount per month of subscription membership to add to the tour price tables, capped at an additional 10% (totalling total 40% tour discounts to subscribers) which will be available to Subscription members only.
Also later I will offer "socials" at discounted prices for subscription members only (later). I will look at those tour tables (tour page) tonight to see if I can add the extra column with extra potential 10% discount to make the tours look cheaper for subscribers. I may offer RA£300 members an additional £100 off a full tour package as well, to encourage them to come for our tour support. I think it is pointless offering confirmed direct contacts of one or two ladies because in my experience men choose the wrong ladies (the ones the interpreters have helped write letters the most) so the result is disappointing and they give up. If they have ten direct contacts of serious ladies who have wrote their own letters, we will see better results and less complaints about ladies.
Many members I hope will join thinking that they will be ready to go on a tour in say three or six months (some will some won't be able to make it). Six months will pass and they will not be financially ready, but they will only maintain the full potential tour discounts by supporting our cause and continuing to subscribe. In return for mutual support, they get a GENUINE service and as much support and guidance as we can give them.
I have not gone in to detail about RV£300 here. Please see current membership page for that, however that offer does not effect the above because it will also work on the current principle of "pay as you go" but they must pay by cheque or bank transfer and I will add £60 to their pay as you go account. Once that is gone, they will have to add more funds to use the internal letters or contact ladies direct with their ten immediate potential (empty) direct contacts. I will make this the "by-pass subscription" options, NOT The main membership choice, but it will be the only way to get direct contacts, by bulk purchase of ten contacts. RA£300 available to RV40 at a discounted lower price of £240 for RA £40 members, if they later decide they do not want our tour services.
I hope the above is clearer, and I will be working on simplifying the membership page tonight.
