Nigel Messenger - Somerset At first I was nervous about meeting so many women, especially foreign ones where I would need an interpreter. But Juliya in the Kiev office soon put me at my ease and stood by me as I met my chosen dates. I was surprised that so many of my chosen girls could speak English and soon I felt relaxed and happy. Kiev is a fantastic city to go out in, and I was shown all the sights and enjoyed going to restaurants and nightclubs the like of which I have never experienced before.

Robert T Carson - London. I am not a great one for letter writing, but I found it very exciting to send out letters and wait for a reply. The website is full of all different types of women and I could choose exactly the woman I liked. When I met a lady called Svetlana we immediately clicked and seemed to have the same sense of humour. I spent all week with her and we are planning to get married in the summer. In Ukraine she has a good job as an optician and I am thinking of leaving England if I can get a job teaching in Kiev so we can live together. The whole thing has opened up a new world for me - a hundred times better than I could have ever imagined.

Richard Somersby - Oxford. I joined Romantic Adventures even though I thought I was too old at 52 to find a new partner. Women I met in the UK were okay, but to be frank I really wanted to find a younger partner. Through the website I got to know a couple of girls who were 29 and 33. I was worried that when we met they might think I was too old for them; however it was not an issue. I got on with both of them brilliantly. The only problem I now have is that I have to choose between them. But I'm not complaining as it's a wonderful dilemma to have.
