The first thing I can tell you is that this website is genuine. I visited Kiev in September 2008. I had exchanged letters with eight ladies but when I arrived five ladies were available to meet.

I was met at the airport by the Interpreter who made sure I checked into my Hotel without any problems. I would recommend the Hotel Rus to you as it is to Western Standards and the staff speak English. Though it is a taxi ride away from the centre of Kiev. All the ladies I met very friendly and attractive. I met a very special lady and visited her again in December and am planning another trip to see her in Kiev for Valentines Day! My advice to anyone thinking about whether to give this a go is don't hesitate for a second - Visiting Ukraine is a must - don't miss out! I joined this site after finding that other (international) sites were charging around $5 to send a letter and then another $5 to read the reply. It didn't take much weighing up to see that the unlimited correspondence for a fixed monthly payment offered by this site was far more cost effective and risk limiting [Agency note: the average cost per letter is now roughly $1 dollar for active users, unlimited replies have been discontinued. See membership pages]. It was also reassuring that this site was based in the UK and even supplied the address and a telephone number to ring should you require more information.

I was the world's worst sceptic when I first joined but soon realised that the ladies were real and what’s more they were (in most cases) well educated, beautiful and held the type of values that I would want a future wife to hold.

I was regularly writing to around 15 ladies and arranged to meet 10 when I visited Kiev. I only ended up meeting 3, I cancelled the rest of the meetings after I met one of the ladies and she surpassed all of my dreams. She was beautiful, slim, well educated, good mannered and really attentive. I spent the best part of the week with her and she showed me around the city and took me to see the sights (even took me to the supermarket to make sure I was eating properly whilst she was at work…..bless her)

The level of support I received in Kiev from the Interpreter was fantastic. It was like having your own PA for a week. She even organised my taxi back to my apartment at the end of the evening and then called me later on to see if I’d got back safely….she was great.

I have been back home now for a couple of weeks but Natalia and I have been in constant communication and are planning a holiday together to Egypt next month.

I have took the time to write this note for the sake of any of you guys who think that it’s too good to be true. I have found (first time) a lady with whom I could happily settle down with and I am sure that you will too.

I am enjoying a wonderful relationship with a very special lady, who I met through your service - so thank you for that … we are going to the South of France next week. I have no idea what the future will hold for us, but we speak daily and meet every month for at least a few days…

I may be able to help re the visas [Agency imput], Mark is referring to Tourist Visas, not settlement visas. To date, we have not recommended tourist visas as a way forward] - Yana and I studied the rules carefully first - the key for a simple tourist visa is for her to establish and prove strong economic ties to her own country. So the ones who will get such a visa are people who have formal rent agreement, a job where they are on the payroll and a bank account that proves they can support themselves. A good sponsor helps, but for the Shengen Visa I simply booked the Paris Hilton on my Amex and then cancelled it once she had the visa (we are staying in a villa in Langudeoc.) This makes it nice to enable you to get to spend real time together prior to great big commitments…

I agree re not burning bridges, I am though a man with little spare time in his hands, I travel to Kiev once a month usually for long weekends if things with Yana do not work out, I shall join again and try again!

I've tried to use one of these agencies in the past, but it was at the time was a big business of scams. Then, after another shot at looking at some similar sites, I stumbled along Steve's site. I find it the most reliable, and useful of all the many that I've looked at. After a few days of investigating, I felt at ease and signed up.

A few months down the road, I've used the same agency to meet ladies in Ukraine, and it was one of the unforgetable moments in my life. Definitely worth a try, if one is considering meeting someone who is far away, and yet one of the most sophisticated, sincere, and down to earth personalities I've met. Steve's agency has the tools to help one to succeed in this type of endeavor.
